PLEASE NOTE:

*There will be an additional charge for “strong to difficult dialects” that increase the transcription time.  PLEASE be sure to bring this to our attention (below).  Otherwise, once discovered, an additional charge will be added during or at the completion of transcript. 

What is “Poor” Audio Quality? “Strong & difficult” dialects, mumbling, whispering, Crosstalk, very fast talkers, dictating while driving (with the windows down), radio and/or music playing (in the background), "eating" (while dictating), dictating in public places, extreme background noise, etc..

*(Due Date quoted is based on “Good-Great” audio quality UNLESS otherwise stated).

CASSETTE(S) – Any cassette(s) received (by JTCB and/or our office) and the Project is cancelled, a $25.00 fee will be assessed and subtracted from the deposit OR required (before the release and return of the cassette(s)) for the “administrative process” required for cassettes. (Cassette Audios – that are LESS than (30) audio minutes will be charged a (30)-minute minimum).  

Certifying documents: Any documents requiring certification will be: transcribed “verbatim”, only what’s on the actual audio, at a 98-100% accuracy (based on the audio quality). Customer/Client understands that he/she cannot dictate and/or influence the outcome of the transcript in anyway by providing input, etc. 

Customer/Client may not “alter or edit” the transcript in ANYWAY once “JTCB” has completed and certified the document. Doing so may possibly invalidate the certification and “JTCB” will not be responsible and/or accountable for the transcript once it has been altered; we also will not recertify, correct and/or make any changes once the transcript has been altered.

We DO NOT accept originals, only copies.  Please do not deliver any to our office.

BEFORE beginning ANY Project a signed Agreement(s) and a Deposit is required;  

NO EXCEPTIONS.
